Newbie Amazon Affiliate Discover’s, It’s More Blessed to Give Than to Recieve.

I’m promoting the Navage Neti Pot and I’ve only managed to get 16 looks in the past 2 weeks with no sales.

 

One thing I’ve learned so far, is that 16 clicks and zero sales is not going to cut it! 

 

Make a note: It’s one thing to be able to make a website; that can easily be accomplished, but it’s a whole different matter to make a website, work. 

 

Getting a website is a good first step,  but I can see that, although I’ve done it before, I have a lot to learn when it comes to making sales online. I’m determined to make that transition. 

I’ve had one hugely successful experience selling product online, that was interrupted by a mistake of my own. 

 

I lost my business as a private label beauty supply distributor, but I didn’t lose the knowledge and the memory of how good it felt to have a system that was evergreen, automated, delivering customers faster than I could supply them and making money.  

 

Once you’ve had a taste of that life you’re never gonna forget it. Yes, it’s as glamorous as it looks. So I’m going back after it! 

 

 

Although I’m currently pursuing several streams of income online, I originally discovered the Amazon Affiliate Program when I was forced to make a recommendation that would replace my star product,  the Alkaline Mineral Softener. The Alkaline Mineral Softener was a natural hair softener for super curly hair,  for people who wanted to protect their hair from harsh chemicals. 

 

I discovered this thing called a sales funnel maybe a year and a half earlier and used it to build a solid email list of 4,000 paying customers.  

 

I used that email list to recommend a product similar to the Alkaline Mineral Softener called Baka Natural-laxer, which is sold on Amazon. 

 

With the push of a button I sent 4,000 interested customers to that Amazon page. 

 

I don’t remember how many clicks I was getting, but it had to be quite a few, because I was making Amazon Affiliate commissions.  

 

I’m starting over with affiliate marketing just recently, I don’t know why I thought I could write one article and and get clicks let alone sales. 

 

I’m meeting people online that didn’t get enough clicks to make sales until they produced and up loaded over 100 videos. 

 

I have to find a way to get a lot more content out there. 

 

 

I’m going to try video. I’m going to buy myself a tripod and do an actual Navage Neti Pot demonstration. 

 

My principled observation is that I’m not giving enough.

 

It has been said that it’s more blessed to give than to receive. I’ve got some giving to do. 

 

I have to create a lot more content with my Amazon link to give myself a chance to get more clicks and some orders. 

 

Meanwhile the clock is ticking because Amazon gives you a 180 days to get 3 sales before they shut you down. 

 

You can create another account, but they will shut you down if you don’t get at least 3 sales!

 

I’m going to try a YouTube channel and maybe TikTok, let’s see.
